Norway Issues Updated Guide for Submitting Data to the Food Composition Table
On October 22, 2025, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority announced on its official website the release of detailed guidelines for data submission to the Norwegian Food Composition Table. Jointly maintained by the Food Safety Authority, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and the Directorate of Health, the Table compiles energy and nutritional information for approximately 2,000 food items. It serves as a vital reference for consumers, the food industry, research institutions, and public health authorities.
